Planned Network Maintenance – Network Hardware Replacement Status: Scheduled Maintenance Date/Time: Tuesday 10th March 2026, 1800 - 2200 Affected Location: Schwann Building Level 1 Impact: Loss of wired & wireless network services during the maintenance window. Details: We will be replacing network hardware as part of the university Network refresh project. During the maintenance window, the building will experience temporary loss of all wired and wireless connectivity. Why are we doing this? This upgrade will improve the network performance and reliability and will reduce the risk of future network outages. Expected Impact: Wired network: Unavailable WiFi: Unavailable Phones (VoIP): Unavailable Building systems (AV, CCTV, Door Access): Brief interruptions Services will automatically restore once the new equipment is in place. If you experience issues after the maintenance window, please contact the IT Service Desk.
